Hey Woofa’s,

As the cold weather sets in, I become a self confessed hermit.

I don’t want to go out in the cold.

I’m quite happy being in my pj’s, all fed, in front of the fire with Billy……oh and Dean of course lol

Then it comes down to what to watch on TV, if there’s nothing on TV then Foxtel and even then there’s not always something we both want to watch!!!!!

However, last Saturday I came across this neat little show about Dogs…..yay.

It’s called THE DOG HOUSE!

Let me tell you about it!

THE DOG HOUSE!

The Dog House, as I discovered, is a lovely TV Show that runs for an hour on channel 10, on Saturday nights at 7.30pm.

It’s based in the UK and it follows the lives of dogs in the facility Wood Green (like our Pound)!

We first meet the lovely workers, who greet people that are looking at adopting a rescue dog.

You learn a bit about why the people have come in to adopt a dog!   What type of dog they’re looking for and off the workers go to see if they can find a match.

The workers come back once they’ve found a match for them and ask if they want to see the dog?

The people  get to meet the dog in this  cute little area that looks like a little backyard.

It’s great to see the different ways the people and dogs interact.  While their interacting the workers watch on screens in their office.

What I also love is that if it’s not a good fit then it doesn’t go ahead.

Nothing is forced, the dog isn’t forced nor are the people which is how it should be.

These dogs have already been dumped or given up by previous owners.

The workers want this next home to be their forever home.

Anyone who loves dogs!!

This show is great for all ages and all dog lovers.

We sat and watched it with Billy!
