Wishing you all a Happy Dog Mother’s Day!!

This is a shout out to all the Dog Mumma’s out there!  We count too!!!

Let’s face it, our fur kids ARE OUR KIDS!!  What we do for our fur kids isn’t all that different to what mum’s of the 2 legged kids do!!!

I know some Mum’s who aren’t Dog Mum’s might be horrified by me saying that.  BUT just check out the list below and then tell me that our job isn’t all that different?

 FUR BABY MUMMA JOBS!!

1. We feed our fur babies everyday;
2. We clean up after our fur babies go potty & check the quality of their poo;
3. We clean up after our fur babies eat;
4. We make sure our fur babies have enough water;
5. We play with our fur babies, inside AND outside;
6. We don’t disturb our fur babies while they’re sleeping;
7. Our fur babies also nap with us;
8. We make sure we’re giving our fur kids a nutritional diet;
9. We have to make sure we choose the right Dr/Vet, hairdresser/groomer, babysitter, trainer etc
10. We make sure their toys aren’t dangerous to play with;
11. We try to socialise them with others;
12. We teach them good behaviours;
13. We’re selective in choosing clothes for them;
14. We make sure they have comfy beds, if they’re not sleeping in our own bed;
15. We take them to school to learn & socialise – dog training/puppy training etc
16. We choose appropriate places to take them when dining out;
17. We make sure their friends are fun and playful;
18. We supervise them at the park;
19. We make sure they can swim before taking them to the beach or put life jackets on them;
20. We worry when they’re not well & have sleepless nights until they’re better;
21. Our fur kids follow our every move around the house e.g.; no peeing or showering in private etc
22. We choose fur kid friendly holidays;
23. We buy camera’s so we can monitor them while they’re sleeping;
24. We talk to them all the time;
25. We worry that they’re happy and whether we’re doing a good job at being a Dog Mumma;
26. We find patience we never thought we had when they decide to misbehave in public;
27. Our electronic devices are filled with cute pictures and videos of our fur kids;
28. We can’t stop talking about our fur kids when we’re out to dinner with others;
29. We miss them terribly when we’re away from them;
30. We have a special bond with our fur kids;
31. We are ever so grateful to have them in our lives; losing them hurts beyond words;
32. Our hearts are covered in paw prints;
33. We only share certain things and behaviours with other Fur Baby Parents;
34. We try to be upset when they do naughty things but their puppy dog eyes melt us so much we forget;
35. We take them and restrain them on car rides;
36. We put the TV on for them to watch or the radio on for them to listen to;
37. We cater to their every need;
38. We know the difference between their barks;
39. We know all their likes and dislikes – food wise, behaviour wise etc
40. We’ve had to stop them from eating something disgusting.

PRESENT IDEAS FOR YOUR FUR BABY MUMMA!!

1. A framed photo of Fur Baby with their Fur Baby Mumma;
2. Anything with a printed photo of their Fur Baby – pillow, mug, phone cover etc;
3. A voucher for the Day Spa for Mumma and Dog Grooming Voucher for Fur Baby;
4. A locket with Fur Babies picture in it;
5. An Album of Fur Babies pics from a baby to now;
6. Doggy slippers or pj’s with dog pics on them;
7. Earrings, necklace pendent, ring with dog paws or in the shape of a dog;
8. A cozy blanket so Fur Baby Mumma can snuggle together with her fur kids;
9. Breakfast/lunch/dinner out at a Dog Friendly Cafe with Fur Baby Mumma and Fur Baby;
10. Her Favourite flowers/chocolate etc and a card from her Fur Baby;
11. If a fitness Mumma matching collar and sports wear;
12. Matching outfits – pj’s, socks, scarves for casual or going out;
13. Fur Babies paw print in plaster/paint;
14. If a reader Fur Mumma – any book on dogs;
15. If a cook Fur Mumma – doggy cook book & utensils in the shape of paw prints & matching apron etc
16. If a glam Fur Mumma matching beanies, scarves, tiara’s, bath towels etc or a fancy blow dryer for both to use;
17. Fur Mumma and Fur Baby portraits;
18. A fancy camera or lens for Fur Mumma’s phone so she can take more pics of her fur baby;
19. For the Craft Mumma – Doggy fabric or soft wools and a doggy beanie/scarf pattern;
20. Dog related accessories – t-shirts, bags, wallets, shoes etc

Or ladies, if you know what you would like for Mother’s Day, don’t be shy in asking for it or at least hinting A LOT OUT LOUD to your Fur BABY while the FUR BABY DADDY can hear you!!!!

6. I Heart Dogs – Also have a great assortment for the Fur Baby Mumma to enjoy.

All you have to do is a google search on anything related to dogs, dog lover, dog mum and there’s plenty to check out.

Better still if you know what her favourite store is or her favourite thing to do – go buy the Fur Mumma in the family something from there or just let her do her favourite thing.
