Just so you know, there’s only ONE WEEK left until we celebrate Mother’s Day!

We celebrate it on the second Sunday in May.

If you’re an organised planner like myself, you’ve probably already purchased your Mother’s Day Gift AND wrapped it!

However, if you’re more like Dean you still believe a week is plenty of time to find a Mother’s Day Gift : (

Once again our celebrations will be a little on the different side due to Coronavirus, however, here in New South Wales they’re looking at easing some of our restrictions.

We are now allowed two adults (who don’t live in our house) to visit us in our home.

So this Mother’s Day we will actually be allowed to see our Mums.  Normally, my parents are away at this time, and we visit Dean’s Nan’s with all his family.  While we won’t be able to do that, at least we can visit our mums.

While I don’t have kids myself I am a Dog Mumma and bless Billy.  I found out he’s been doing some shopping online and has already bought my Mother’s Day Present : ). He’s such a clever boy.

This got me thinking of all the other Dog Mumma’s out there who would like some pampering on Mother’s Day and I’ve put together a GIFT LIST so you can get shopping for them.

GIFT IDEAS FOR THE DOG MUMMA IN YOUR LIFE!

1. Books – if your Dog Mumma is a reader a Book Voucher is one of the best things you can buy her, this way she can choose her own.
2. Subscription to her favourite Magazine – there are plenty of magazines to choose from, even dog magazines.
3. Jewellery – in my view you can never go wrong with jewellery either and there’s some cute jewellery pieces with dogs on them, you’ve just got to know what your Dog Mumma is into.
4. Gift Vouchers – to her favourite store will never go astray either.  If she’s very hard to buy for and you know her favourite shops go for it.
5. Day Spa Pampering – if you know your Dog Mumma’s favourite Day Spa, why not purchase a pamper pack for her?
6. Doggy Day Spa – don’t forget to get her fur baby/s a pampering too from the local Dog Salon.
7. Portraits – a nice idea is to arrange to have a nice portrait of your Dog Mumma with her fur kid/s.  Or if you already have a nice pic you could have it printed.  There’s many things you could have it printed on – canvas, mugs, pillows, blankets, socks, phone cases etc.
8. A Basket of her Favourite Things – if you know what your Dog Mumma loves i.e. chocolates, lollies, stationery, socks, books, wine whatever it is, it’s a good idea to put it all together in a gift basket.
9. For The Chef Dog Mumma – some tools of the trade, apron, oven mitts, tea towels, utensils, her favourite cook book etc.  To make it cuter have paw prints on them.
10. For the Crafty Dog Mumma – depending on what her exact craft is will depend on what you’re getting.  It may be wool, knitting needles, crochet hook, material with dog prints – any craft supplies that suit her exact craft.
11. For The Beach Dog Mumma – (when allowed) give the gift of time.  If your Beach Dog Mumma is busy allow her some time to get to the Beach – with her fur kid/s as well.  Also, any beach apparel with dog prints on it is very cute – a beach bag, beach towel or sheet etc
12. For The Tech Dog Mumma – some new tech with a case that has a pic of her Dog kid/s on it.
13. The Adventure Dog Mumma –  You get the gist, if your Dog Mumma is into something specific get them something they may need in their said interest and add dog prints.
14. PJ’s, Slippers, Socks, Scarves – these are some of my favourite things.
15. Donations – there are plenty of Dog Charities and Rescues out there that always need extra money.  You could make a donation in your Dog Mumma and her Fur Baby’s names.

Okay so these are just a few ideas to get the Mother’s Day Gift Buying juices flowing.
